基本做起---奶油蛋糕 Simple basic butter cake

一直都很喜欢吃蛋糕,所以很想尝试一下做蛋糕的滋味。以前在纽西兰的时候曾经做过几次,不过大多是别人做,我在旁边帮忙而已。前几天,在同时的怂恿下,一是口快,答应他们一定做来请他们吃。所以为了维护我那小小的尊严,只好硬着头皮去做了。我选择了做奶油蛋糕,是最基本,也是做容易做的蛋糕。我就上网找了一些食谱,选了看起来最简单和容易的做法。结果,我第一次烘焙成功!!

P/S: 我选择英文的因为很多华语的食材我看不明白。



Ingredients for a basic butter cake
200g self-raising flour – add in a pinch of salt
200g castor sugar
250g butter
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
4 tbsp of milk




Method
1.Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius. Grease and line a 20cm cake tin and place aside.
2.Beat butter and sugar till white and creamy. Add in eggs one at a time and beat till combined.
3.Mix in milk and vanilla essence and gently fold in the shifted self-raising flour.
4.Pour batter into prepared cake tin. Bake for 30-35 minutes until an inserted wooden pick comes out clean.
